FIRST

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) was founded in 1989, by the famous inventor Dean Kamen.  Competitions started in 1992, with the goal of changing the culture of education in America and the world.

During the past 20 years, FIRST has developed wonderful programs to inspire many students and adults across the world.

FIRST has a strong mission and vision, while also teaching many to use Gracious Professionalism while competing.  FIRST has made an outstanding impact on our community as a whole and is a world-wide leader in Robotics Education.
